On Wednesday, the Nigerian poet, lawyer, politician, and essayist took to his Facebook account to reveal what he discussed with Olusegun Matthew Okikiola Aremu Obasanjo, last night in Abeokuta.
Fani-Kayode met with the Nigerian politician, former head of state from 1976 to 1979, and the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from 1999 to 2007.
Fani-Kayode's meeting with chief Olusegun Obasanjo was reported on Facebook by the Nigerian lawyer himself. Fani-Kayode took to his Facebook account to reveal what he discussed with Obasanjo, last night in Abeokuta.

Speaking about the meeting Kayode said that he had the privilege to have a wonderful meeting and dinner with his father and leader in his hometown in Abeokuta.
He said, "My delegation and I had the honor and privilege of having a wonderful meeting and dinner with my father and leader President Olusegun Obasanjo in his beautiful Abeokuta home last night."
While revealing his discussion with Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Kayode said that their discussed world events and situation in Nigeria. He also added that the wisdom, insight, knowledge, and understanding of Obasanjo never ceases to amaze him.
He said, "The wisdom, insight, knowledge, and understanding of Obasanjo never ceases to amaze me. We discussed world events and the situation in Nigeria."
Femi Kayode while reporting the meeting also said that Nigerians need to input Obasanjo in the affairs of the country adding that Obasanjo's depth of knowledge experience, insight, and foresight is second to none.
He said, "One thing is clear to me: we need the counsel and input of OBJ in the affairs of our country now more than ever. His depth of knowledge, experience, insight, and foresight is second to none. May God continue to grant him good health and keep him for us for many more years to come."
