Some social media Users have reacted after the Peoples Democrac Party Chieftain, Femi Fani-Kayode made a post on his verified Twitter page today commending the Rivers State, Ezebunwo Nyesom Wike for saving the former acting Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Joy Nunieh after some men of Nigeria Police stormed her Port Harcourt residence today.
Chief Fani-Kayode in the post said the Police raid on her house at 4:00am was illegal and was not backed by a warrant or authorised by the Inspector of Police.
He also said the raid on the Port Harcourt house of the former NDDC Boss was simply an attempt to abduct and possibly kill her. He commend the Rivers State Governor for arriving the home of the former NDDC Boss and take her away.
Fani Kayode wrote: "Gov. Wike saved Joy Nunieh's life today. The police raid on her house at 4.00am was illegal & was NOT backed by a warrant or authorised by the I-G. It was simply an attempt to abduct & possibly kill her. Wike arrived on the scene, broke the siege & saved her life. I commend him."
His post draw attention of some of his Followers with a Follower said, "Wike is now the law. Shame on the people bringing the country to a lawless society."
Another Follower said; "Nigeria truly needs more of fearless minds like Nyesom Wike in d face of this sheer tyranny. But when will this country be normal? Is our case hopeless? I keep pondering."
