The Executive Governor of Lagos State,Governor Sanwo Olu Babajide has paid a visit to the family of the first and civilian governor of Lagos State, late Alhaji Jakande Lateef as he passed unto glory.
This information was made available to us through the official Facebook page of the Governor this afternoon. Where he posted some pictures depicting some moments he spent with the family of the late Jakande.
According to him," I was at the residence of late elder stateman and the first civilian governor of Lagos State, Alhaji Lateef Jakande to commiserate with his wife Mrs.Abimbola Jakande, his children and other family members on the passing away of our Icon of public service.
"Baba's landmark achievements as the governor of this state in education, health, housing ,urban renewal and infrastructure will remain touchstone for our generation and that to come.we can only learn from his worthy examples and commit ourselves to dutifully serving our people."
