One Nigerian man @IsaacU has digged up an old newspaper dated 24th May, 2013, where the now President of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari asked Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to resign and give way to competent hand to rule Nigeria due to rising cases of insecurity.
Buhari made this statement while addressing journalists in his country home in Daura, Katsina state where he asked the then President, Jonathan to resign due to his failure to perform his primary assignment of securing Nigerians.
The Nigerian man dug up the old newspaper after President Buhari urged Nigerians to pray against criminals and those that are desperately seeking for powers. He further asked Nigerians to pray against the tragic incidents of kidnapping and banditry ravaging different parts of the country.
He said this in a goodwill message to all Nigerians and Muslims across the globe as they mark the Eid-el- Fitr following the completion of a month of fasting. He called for the unity of Nigeria and solidarity among all citizens in this time where the nation is facing a lot of security challenges.
He said that Nigeria can overcome the numerous problems facing the nation if the citizens can come together as one and therefore prayed for brotherhood and love amongst all.
What's your opinion about this call for prayer against insecurity by the president?
