The National Assembly Election was done on the 25th of February. Aside for few places, the Independent National Electoral Commission have announced the list of those that won the Senate and House of Representative seat. We take a look at how political parties performed in the Southeast Geopolitical zone.
House of Representatives
Southeast has 43 seats in the House of Representatives.
The 43 seats are are broken down among the 5 states as follows:
1. Abia state - 8
2. Anambra State - 11
3. Ebonyi state - 6
4. Enugu state - 8
5. Imo state - 10
Out of the 43 seats;
PDP won 6
Labour party won 22
APC won 7
APGA won 4
YPP won 1
While 4 of the seats have not been decided as INEC declared their elections Inconclusive.
