According to Daily Post, Chidoka explained that all the Twelve Contestants during the 2018 PDP Presidential Primaries emerged from the Northern Region because the Party agreed it was the turn of the North to spend Eight years. Thus, paving way for the emergence of a Former Vice-president, Atiku Abubakar, a Northerner as the 2019 PDP Presidential Candidate.

One Mistake The PDP Needs To Avoid In 2023

There are indications that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) might zone it's Presidential Ticket to the South. Thus, if the PDP failed to consider the adoption a Southerner as it's Candidate in 2023. The party risk losing the 2023 Presidential Poll, because Southerners might pitch tent with the APC and deliver massive votes for the ruling party, which already have a strong political base in the Northern Region. Therefore, the APC might rule beyond 2023.
