National Secretary of the body, Saleh Alhassan, warned that Southern governors may not get the presidency if they opt to blackmail the North.

President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the death of Emir of Lafiagi, Alhaji Sa'adu Kawu Haliru.

The 86-year-old monarch died on Thursday and Buhari in a condolence message signed by Garba Shehu, his spokesperson, commiserated with the government and people of Kwara State.

National Coordinator, Concerned Advocates for Good Governance (CAGG), Barrister Olusegun Bamgbose has given President Muhammadu Buhari seven days to secure the release of the 348 students held hostage by bandits.

Bamgbose said he will do everything humanly possible to ensure the release of the students if Buhari's government fails to do so in the next one week.
