SE Govs, Ohanaeze Are Already Compiling IPOB/ESN Members' Names For Handover To FG - IPOB Alleges

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has raised the alarm that South-East Governors, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, and some traditional rulers, head of communities, were already compiling the names of its members and those of Eastern Security Network, to handover to the Federal Government for incarceration.

It will be recalled that since the launch of the joint security outfit, Ebubeagu, by the southeast governors about a week ago, many diverse reactions have been pouring in, especially from the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, who had on multiple occasions warned the youths in the region to abstain from joining the security outfit, as doing so may have dire consequences.

However, the governors maintained that Ebubeagu is meant to curb the rising insecurity crisis in the region, the latest being the ones on a correctional service, Police stations, military checkpoints, among others in Imo, Ebonyi and Anambra states in particular.

To this end, the agitators (IPOB/ESN) who has vowed never to work with the newly launched Ebubeagu, revealed that intelligence gathering by it men showed that the compilation of the IPOB/ESN members names is being carried out in order to weaken its resolve and that of the ESN from flushing the Fulani herdsmen out of the zone, saying politicians, local authorities and others were sabotaging the efforts.

Emma Powerful, the group's Director of Media and Publicity, made this known on Saturday and added that it was aware that these set of people/group has bargained with Nigerian security agencies to abduct anybody suspected to be an IPOB member or supporter to unknown locations.

Speaking further, he said: "IPOB is, therefore, issuing a stern warning to these Miyetti Allah slaves to be careful because they must answer for their actions."

“We advise Nigeria government and her partners in crime in the zone to desist from this evil agenda because it will backfire. We are aware of their secret file, but we are not going back until Biafra is finally achieved. He added.

Consequently, diverse reactions have continued to trail this development, with many urging the southeast governors, the Nigerian Army and the Federal Government to handle the issue of IPOB/ESN with care, so it won't escalate beyond control.

But in your thoughts, what would be your advise to anyone you know who wants to join Ebubeagu , considering the fragile insecurity situation in that region at the moment ?
