The governor of Imo State, Sen. Hope Uzodinma and First Lady, Barr.(Mrs) Chioma Uzodinma attended the traditional marriage ceremony between Ms Chiaka and High Chief. Sen. Ben Ndi Obi aka Ojeligbo at Obinugwu, Orlu Local Government Area. On getting to the venue, the Governor and his wife joined the groom and other dignitaries for a short stopover at the Palace of Obi of Obinugwu, H.R.M. Eze (Dr) Cletus Ikechukwu Ilomuanya, CON, for his royal blessing.
According to Sen. Hope Uzodinma, “we attended the traditional marriage ceremony between Ms Chiaka, and my friend & brother, Sen. Chief. Ben Ndi Obi (Ojeligbo) at Obinugwu, Orlu, LGA.
“Prior to that, in the company of the groom, we made a quick stopover at Eze Ilomuanya's palace in Orlu for his blessings.”
Also, he prayed for a peaceful and blissful union for the new couple, he said “I pray for a peaceful and blissful and may the couple enjoy the divine blessings associated with marriage.”
