Before becoming a civilian president in 2015, Muhammadu Buhari was a military head of state between 1983-1985.
This means that, this is the second time that, Muhammadu Buhari will be sitting on the seat of power.
Well, aside being the Commander in Chief for the second time, what many so not know is that, he has also been married twice, and that his current wife Aisha Buhari is infact, his second wife.

President Muhammadu Buhari married his current wife Aisha Buhari on December 1989 after divorcing his first wife in 1988.
Buhari before he became president and his first wife, Safinatu.
Safinatu's father, Alhaji Yusuf Mani was the secretary to a then Lagos State minister.
After meeting Safinatu for the first time, Buhari kept a began and maintained a romantic relationship with her.
Safinatu a native of Katsina State, who later became Buhari's first wife, was born in 1952 in Jos Plateau State.
And about 5 years after meeting her Buhari a military officer then guy married to Safinatu in 1971 after she had completely her studies at Teachers Training College Katsina.
President Buhari and Safinatu had 5 children together namely, Zulaihiat, Fatima, Musa, Hadiza and Safinatu. Unfortunately, Zulaihiat and Musa are now deceased.
However, his marriage with Safinatu just like his time as the military head of state, was not meant to last forever, as he divorced her in 1988.
And a year after divorcing her, he got married to his current wife Aisha Buhari with whom he also has 5 children.
President Buhari's first wife Safinatu died in 2006 at the age of 53 as a result of Diabetes related complications may her soul rest in peace.
