Femi Fani-Kayode Reacts As Gov Nyesom Wike Saves Joy Nunieh's Life

The former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted for an attempted arrest of the former Ex-NDDC Minister, Joy Nunieh by the Nigerian Police. According to report from other online news platform, the Police raided her home in the early hours of today, but the governor of Rivers state, Gov Nyesom Wike came to her rescue.

Reacting to this, the former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has taken to his verified Twitter handle to condemn the raid of Joy Nunieh's home today. According to him, Gov Wike saved Joy Nunieh's life today. While condemning the action of the Police, Fani-Kayode said, the raid on Joy Nunieh's home was illegal and was not backed by a warrant or authorised by the Inspector General of Police (IG). He also, said that, it was an attempt to abduct and possibly kill Joy.

Femi Fani-Kayode also, commended the governor of Rivers state, for arriving on the scene, broke the siege and save Joy's life. Read Femi Fani-Kayode statement below.

Gov. Wike saved Joy Nunieh's life today. The police raid on her house at 4.00am was illegal & was NOT backed by a warrant or authorised by the I-G. It was simply an attempt to abduct & possibly kill her. Wike arrived on the scene, broke the siege & saved her life. I commend him.
