The All Progressive Congress, Cross River Chapter has reportedly ordered three million bunches of brooms for the new members. This was made known in a statement by the party's publicity secretary for Cross River State.
Bassey Ita disclosed that this is done in a bid to address the scarcity of brooms following the intake of new members. Broom is known to be APC's emblem and there has been a reported decrease in its number after the defection of Governor Ben Ayade from PDP.
