The herdsmen's activities will be a thing of the past soon. On 21st September, Southern Nigeria will celebrate the post-Fulani herdsmen era. It will be a thing of memory and will enter into the Nigeria history book. The unborn generation will be told how the killer herdsmen ravaged, killed, raped, and maimed thousands of Nigerians, without resistance from security agencies, who looked the other way as Nigerians were killed like rams and goats.
Many people may not be able to recover from the activities of Hersmen for decades to come, people who lost their breadwinners, fathers, mothers, husbands, wives, children and grandchildren, including their houses will always be emotionally hurt when remembering these ugly saga.

The South made history after they took the bull by the horns, and declared an end to the herdsmen's activities. The activities of the Fulani herdsmen are not only limited to the South, but are also witnessed in many parts of the North. Two northern states have joined the trend of the southern states by enacting an anti-open herdsmen activities, market bill in their states. Kastina state Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, decided to stop the activities of the herdsmen in his statement by signing into law a ban on the activities of the herdsmen in Kastina state. He did this to make sure that the state was free from evil reports about the activities of Fulani herdsmen.
