EFCC vows to check fraudulent activities in housing sector:

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has made compulsory membership of the Real Estate Developers Association (REDAN) for all real estate players as part of effort to check fraudulent activities in the housing sector.

The Director of Special Control Unit against Money Laundering (SCUML), a unit operationally domiciled in EFCC, Mr. Brown Isei, stated this Friday in Abuja at the unveiling of REDAN seals to distinguish its members from fraudsters.

Pastor TB Joshua’s TV suspended over alleged hate speech:

Emmanuel TV, a prominent Christian television channel owned by Pastor TB Joshua of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, has been suspended on YouTube.

On Wednesday, Joshua announced it on his Twitter account.

He said the channel was shut down because of a video that allegedly contained hate speech.

President Buhari now re-energised – APC:

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that President Muhammadu Buhari is now re-energised and recommitted to executing the party’s lofty developmental objectives after his medical trip abroad.

Sen. John Akpanudoedehe, National Secretary of the party’s Caretaker and Extra-ordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), disclosed this in a statement on Friday in Abuja while welcoming the president back to the country.
