TO MY FRIEND, MALLAM ABBA KYARI
Mallam Abba Kyari, who passed on seventeenth April 2020, at 67 years old from inconveniences brought about by the Coronavirus, was a genuine Nigerian loyalist. My devoted companion and comrade throughout the previous 42 years – and hitherto my Chief-of-Staff – he never faltered in his duty to the improvement of all of us.
He was distinctly in his twenties when we initially met. A constant understudy, not long after he was honored with the chance to concentrate abroad – first at Warwick and afterward law at the University of Cambridge. In any case, there was never any inquiry Abba would bring his top notch abilities and recently procured world-class information back to Nigeria – which he did – promptly upon graduation.
While having the most keen legitimate and hierarchical psyche, Abba's actual center was consistently the improvement of framework and the affirmation of security for the individuals of this country he served so loyally. For he realized that without both couple there can never be the advancement of the deferential society and lively economy that every single Nigerian resident merit.
In political life, Abba never looked for elective office for himself. Or maybe, he set himself against the view and lead of two ages of Nigeria's political foundation – who considered debasement to be a privilege and its training a result of having political office.
