Rashida Bello is the wife of the governor of Kogi state, Governor Yahaya Bello and there have been recent rumors alleging that she actually moved out of the Kogi state government house. The Kogi state government have reacted to the allegations, and the social media reports have been described as a 'malicious' statements.

The government reacted through, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Onogwu Muhammed who released a statement on Monday saying that the news, allegations and rumors were all baseless.
He further said that the state governor was in full control of his household and that it was disgruntled and undesirable elements that made the fake social media publication, whose main aim is to paint a kind of revolt against the governor by his wife.
Onogwu Muhammed further urged the citizens to discard the information, because all these schemes by faceless elements are just a consistent attempt to hinder the state governors development agenda.
