Lagos state Governor Sanwo Olu Babajide has made a signed with the United State Agency for International Development (USAID) to Commission the State Integrated Resource Plan (IRP).
This Initiative is under the Power -Africa : Nigeria Power Sector Program initiative ( PA - NPSP).
Gov. Babajide Sanwo Olu who appended his signing in Lagos state on Tuesday mentioned that "In order to Develop and Boost up Electricity in Sub-Saharan African, It must begins in Nigeria else to other place.
The Development is with aim to ensure that there will be accessibility to affordable and reliable electrical power in the Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole.
Mr Olalere Odusote, the Commissioner of Energy and Mineral Resources , Lagos state... Said that "This affiliation was a significant to one of the highest commitment so far.
As he said, the Main purpose of this the Project is to give out a reliable and sustainable electrical to Lagosians , which according to him is the most mission in making Lagos State the best in Economy in the 21st Century.
Mr. Odusote said that "This Integrated Plan Improvement emerged for Lagos State will be for the long term and also Sustainable.
