For quite some time in the country, there have been different groups from the Southeast and Southwest region agitating for the separation of Nigeria but the federal government has been able to deal with the situation without causing disunity in the country. The monarch hailed President Buhari that despite the challenges his government has been facing they were able to fight for Nigeria's unity.
2. He revealed some infrastructure development President Buhari has done in the Southeast.
Igwe Nevobasi said the construction of the Second River Niger Bridge is going on well and the International Airport has a brand new runway and is now in use.
He also made it known to the public that he is impressed with the construction of Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway and Onitsha-Enugu road.
3. Igwe Nevobasi also praised President Buhari over the fight against corruption in the country.
The monarch lauded President Buhari's fight against corrupt acts by politicians in the country and for some time Nigerians have seen how EFCC has been running after some public office holders and how some politicians have been dealt with after being found guilty of corruption.
The rate of insecurity in the Southeast has been a major concern for the Igbo people, the federal government should put more effort to protect lives and properties.
