Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state has disclosed that the PDP governors forum expects it's outgoing chairman (Uche Secondus) to stabilize the party.

He stated this while featuring on Politics Today,a current affairs program on channels television recently.

He denied that members of the governor's forum were mounting pressure on Secondus to withdraw his case against the party in court.

In his words;

"We cannot put pressure on him.These are adults,these are leaders in their own rights. When you are leading a state,it does not just happen just like that.No.You must have gone through a process.You must have been scrutinized by people of your state and deemed fit to occupy the position of a state governor."

He also spoke on the allegation of the unfair treatment of Secondus by the party.

" He (Secondus) was party chairman in Rivers state,he then moved to the national level.He became the national organising secretary,then became deputy national chairman,acting chairman and national chairman.l will think that he has benefitted so much from the party and the least we expect of him was to give back and be a stabilizer for the party."

The governor further said if he was in Secondus' shoes,"l would listen to the voice of reasoning."

What do think of the PDP governors forum's position over their embattled Chairman,Uche Secondus?
