It is no longer news that Bola Ahmed Tinubu emerged as the winner of the just concluded Presidential election, Bauchi is one of the states where the president-elect got a 25 percent majority vote, although got defeated by his rival Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, who pulled the highest vote.
As aired on AIT Live, the indigenes of the state are seen to be very elated over Tinubu's victory. One of the supporters identified as Godfree Manasseh, said, 'We are here to celebrate the victory of the man we trust, of the man we know he is full of capacity.
Another said, 'The Tinubu I know that won this election is going to deliver this country from its problems.'
The outcome of the Presidential election will serve as a challenge to various political parties across Nigeria, in confronting the March 11 Governorship and State Assembly Elections. But we look forward to it with high expectations.
