Many Nigerians from around the nation have gathered behind Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the former governor of Lagos State, to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari after his term expires on May 29, 2023. While inaugurating its state steering committees in Abuja under the aegis of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), led by Arc Umar Mohammed, the group called on Tinubu to run for president in 2023 to achieve the goal.
Mohammed praised Tinubu's sterling qualities, claiming that he has the capability to continue President Muhammadu Buhari's developmental trajectory.
"Tinubu is a bridge-builder who can unite the country across regional, ethnic, and religious divides. We've identified him as a top-notch resource manager and a seasoned administrator. We have no suspicion that he has the ability and democratic will to initiate a new idea of leadership and a new agenda of sustainable development, to provide effective leadership capable of delivering remedies to the many problems facing the country in the next provision."
