Deji Adeyanju has reacted to the situation of Danladi Umar, the Chairman Code of Conduct Tribunal. It's no news that Umar assaulted a security man in a video that circulated on social media in the early hours of yesterday. Nigerians have criticised him for stooping so low to engage in such act.
How would the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal get involved in such a condemnable act? That's exactly why people are calling for his sanction. However, with the recent situation of things, it doesn't seem the Nigerian government is prepared to make him face the consequences of what he did.
Just like you know, this is Nigeria and any offence is pardonable. Deji Adeyanju has felt the need to let Nigerians know that Danladi could still be sanctioned even if the Government don't want to do that.
He said: "if nothing is done to sanction Danladi Umar, we will be left with no option than to write foreign embassies in Nigeria next week seeking Visa ban against him as he appears to be above the law in Nigeria".
