Adamu Garba in his recent tweet said Ghana is a small country, and should not be compared to Nigeria, revealing that the country got its name after the fall of the original Ghana.
Stating on his official Twitter page, Adamu said:
Even the name Ghana belongs to Mali Empire, it was conspicuously given to them after the fall of the original Ghana because it was discovered that the people there don't know themselves to the point where the don't even have a name for their country".

Speaking to an unknown person, Adamu Garba said:
"They told you to stay and build your country, you insulted, denigrated Nigeria, and compared us with a very small country like Ghana".

However, this particular statement made by Adamu Garba has sparked a lot of reactions on Twitter.
A Twitter user identified as "OurFavOnlineDoc" in defense of Ghana took to his Twitter page to send a reply to Adamu Garba.
Ghana has 31 million people, 8 million social media users. Nigeria has 200 million people, 33 million social media users. Guess where Twitter chose as their headquarters of Africa operation? Ghana. We ban crypto, kill small business, oppress young people. This is why nobody rates us".
