1: Uzodinma Is attacking me out of hatred – Okorocha.

A former governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha, has said that the governor of the State, Hope Uzodinma, was attacking him out of “hatred and vendetta.”

Okorocha, in a statement issued in Owerri the state capital on Wednesday by his spokesperson, Sam Onwuemeodo, boasted that the governor will “not win me.”

The statement was reacting to Tuesday’s demolition of the parameter fence of the building housing Reach FM radio station, Owerri, owned by his daughter, Mrs Uloma Nwosu.

He said that the demolition of the parameter fence of the building housing the radio station was yet another war of envy and conspiracy against him.

2: Don’t carry AK-47, Bauchi Governor Warns herdsmen.

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has pleaded with Fulani herders not to carry AK-47 riffles but remain peaceful.

The governor, who made the plea in his speech at the launch of the 2020/ 2021 annual livestock vaccination campaign held at the Galambi Cattle Ranch, Bauchi, on Wednesday, described the Fulani people as humble, simple, and humane.

He said, “What I will do, I will not say it here, but I will do everything possible to make sure I protect you and lend support to you because I know you mean well.

3: Bawa denies selling seized property in EFCC custody.

The nominee of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) for the position of the Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Abdulrasheed Bawa, on Wednesday, denied selling the seized property in EFCC custody at its Port Harcourt Zonal office.

Bawa who is currently being grilled at the Senate at plenary, also insisted that he was qualified to be the Chairman of the Commission based on the provisions of the EFCC Act.
