Buhari Is Not Biased Because The New IGP Is Not A Hausa Man; See The Place He Came From

A number of people think that all northerners are all Hausa. Hausa language is the first widespread language that has dominated the Northern part of the country for a lot of years but not all people in the North are speaking Hausa language. Majority of people in the northern part of the country are speaking Hausa. Nevertheless, all of them are not Hausa.

When Buhari announced the appointment of the new Inspector General of Police, Alkali Baba Usman, a number of people thought he had appointed another Hausa man again to replace the former Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, who was sacked by the presidency some days ago. Usman Alkali Baba is not a Hausa man but a Geidam man from Yobe State. Yobe State was part of the old Borno before separation, some of the people in Yobe State are still speak Fula.

Apart from Fula, the people of Geidam are also speaking Kanuri. The people of Geidam have two dominant languages in which Hausa language is not part of. People's notion about the tribe in which the new Inspector General of Police is from should change now because no Yoruba man would want to be referred to as Igbo and people should be addressed by their tribes.

By doing this also, President Muhammadu Buhari has also shown to us that he is not biased as he picks people from tribes in Nigeria into his cabinet. He doesn't favour any tribe more than others. He has appointed a Geidam man as the Inspector General of Police. Buhari is not biased.

We have over one hundred tribes in Nigeria that are completely different from others and all of them want to get involved in the governance of the state and that's what President Muhammadu Buhari is trying to do. Once again, Usman Alkali Baba is not a Hausa man but a man from Geidam.
