According to a report by The Cable, the president-elect and Kashim Shettima moved into the Defence Guest House in the Maitama district of the federal capital territory.
The Cable also reports that president Muhammadu Buhari also stayed in the Defence House before he was sworn-in as the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the year 2015. The Daily Post also confirms that the president-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria stays at the Defence House before his swearing-in ceremony.
