Natasha Hadiza Akpoti, a Kogi politician who lost the Kogi Central's senatorial seat to Abubakar Ohere, recently went live on her verified Facebook page to speak about politics and a bit about her marital life.
Regarding her marital life, Natasha Hadiza Akpoti said, "I will be at home for the House of Assembly election in the next few days and after some days, I will take some time off to focus on my family. I recently told my husband that I could not go for honeymoon because I was pregnant during my traditional wedding."
Speaking further, Natasha Hadiza Akpoti said, "do you people even know that it was as a result of your congratulatory messages on Facebook that I realized that it was already my marriage anniversary? We were so busy with work that we forgot but I later told my husband that our anniversary was the following day."
Talking about politics, Natasha Hadiza Akpoti said, "I am very sure that I will get back my mandate because we already have our petition on the table of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)."
Again, Natasha Hadiza Akpoti said, "I will also make sure that stay in touch with each and everyone of you. I will be there for those who will want employment opportunities and other kinds of support."
Lastly, Natasha Hadiza Akpoti said, "at the moment, my spirit is unbroken because I am here to better the lives of my people. At Ajaokuta, it was a warzone but I really appreciate the Nigerian Army and the DSS. Not all our officers are bad but there are some bad eggs. This means that our Force needs to be sanitized."
