Without wasting much of your time, the two high-ranked and important officials of the party (PDP) that defected to the APC are:
1. The State Deputy Chairman of the People's Democratic Party, Alhaji Usman Amale
2. Malam Ahmadu Biriri, who was the party's Assistant Secretary.
In my opinion, I think the reason they may have dumped the PDP may be due to the leadership crisis affecting the party. The flaw of crisis had been a big issue to the PDP, causing most of its important members to decamp from the party.
