Recall that ahead of the bid for the leadership of the 10th National Assembly of Nigeria, many top politicians had fronted themselves as credible candidates for the different positions in the Nigerian legislative houses, and the ruling APC has fronted Senator Godswill Akpabio as the candidate for the next senate president of Nigeria.
More so, Akpabio had secured the endorsement of many Nigerian senators as well as other notable stakeholders in the country, and his opponents are not idle as well in that regard.
Meanwhile, Adamu Garba noted that the Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima, has backed Godswill Akpabio and Senator Jibrin Barau, and also noted that all the members of the APC want the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is set to be sworn in as the president on May 29th 2023, to succeed.
