Exposed: APC Plan To Arrest PDP members in Kwande

Plans by the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kwande local government area of Benue State to rig this Saturday's gubernatorial election has been uncovered.

The plan was hatched in a meeting of APC stakeholders held yesterday at the residence of a former ICPC director, Anumve Terwase, at Tse Awa, Injorov,in Mbadura Council ward.

During the meeting, Mike Msuaan identified some members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, that must be arrested for the APC to win the governorship and State Assembly elections in Kwande.

Msuuan who is a member of the Board of Federal Polytechnic Wannune told APC members that he has perfected plans to arrest selected PDP members on the morning of Saturday, March 18,2023, to be released in the afternoon after elections.

A source at the meeting disclosed that Msuaan said the PDP has closed ranks after the party suffered defeat in the Presidential and National Assembly elections and with the visit of the PDP governorship candidate Titus Uba to the IDPs in Kwande, the people are gradually turning away from the APC, hence the need to ensure some PDP chieftains do not participate in the gubernatorial election.

As at the time of this report, Mike Msuaan's photographer, Jeremiah Terfa Cheren was to help the security agencies identify some of the PDP chieftains.

Shortly after the meeting, some youths who got wind of the plot have threatened to resist any attempt to arrest or invite any PDP member for questioning.

They said Mike Msuaan is not the only one that knows how to rent or hire military men to intimidate people.

They advised Msuaan to use the military men he wants to hire to intimidated PDP members to ensure his people who are tormented by Fulani herdsmen return to their ancestral homes.

Recall that during the last elections, Msuaan was moving about with DSS personnel .
