Gov Wike has praised the APC governors for pushing for presidency to go to the southern region after the end of Pres Buhari's tenure.
According to Vanguard Newspaper, while he was saying PDP discarding zoning led to their lost in the 2023 election, he said
APC governors are my heroes. They came out openly to tell the world, tell Nigerians, ‘look, the unity of this country is paramount. We don’t want Nigeria divided’.
“I was shocked when all of them came out and said we have had it for eight years in the North, let it go South for eight years so we can have harmony, peace and unity, ”
It is no more news Gov Wike has shown he was happy that presidency has been shifted to southern region after INEC declared APC presidential aspirant as the winner of the 2023 presidential election.
