The Proscribed Indigenous People Of Biafra has said through its Media and Publicity secretary, Emma Power, that it would make the Southeastern part of the country hot if South-East Governors and other community Leaders fail to bury their plot to abduct members of IPOB and some Eastern Security Operatives.
On Saturday, the Proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) announced that it had discovered plots in the South East by leaders, government officials, and local authorities working with security agencies to kidnap alleged members or supporters of the group.
Southeast Governors, Ohaneze Ndigbo, traditional rulers, and President Generals of some communities were also accused of secretly compiling names of suspected IPOB members and ESN operatives across the region for transmission to the Nigerian government, according to the group.
IPOB's Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Power, said the move, which was suggested by the Federal Government and her security operatives, was aimed at undermining the organization's security forces in their efforts to drive herdsmen out of the country.
If the Southeast Governors fail to withdraw the alleged plans against its members and supporters, it has threatened to make the zone too hot for them.
