Dear South East Governors;
The recent order which was initiated by the Federal Government yesterday to all the country's security agents to shoot anyone who is caught bearing AK-47 riffles, has called for your urgent response and intervention.
I believe you all are aware of the ongoing Biafran agitation which is being headed by the Biafran activist Maazi Nnamdi Kanu, and how the Eastern Security Network group which was recently launched by the activist seem to have posed as a threat in the whole of Igbo land after this recent order from federal government.
We might want to recall that this very group which was solely created to protect the 5 igbo speaking states, has access to this very AK-47 riffles which the government has given a mandate against.
Dear distinguished governors, I believe it's time to stand up and work together towards averting this very looming danger. This very Eastern Security Network group has access to these AK-47 riffles which could only mean one thing, that the government might be forced to deploy security operatives to go against them.
Standing up now to ban this very group from using AK-47 riffles will help a lot in avoiding this very orders from the government from affecting the whole of Igbo land.
An open letter from an Igbo man to all South East Governors to act against ESN now over the new orders from FG.
