The main reason Tinubu defeated Obi and Atiku and won the presidential election-Keyamo reveals

Bola Tinubu, the President-elect of Nigeria, was able to win the 2023 presidential election because he was a pan-Nigerian candidate, according to Festus Keyamo, spokesman for the All Progressives Party (APC) presidential campaign committee.

This was said by Keyamo in a TVC interview on Monday. He asserted that Tinubu was the only candidate that won votes from across diverse sections and demographics in Nigeria.

Tinubu, the ultimate election winner, had support from voters in all four regions of Nigeria: the north, south, east, and west. He received votes from every region of the nation. According to the voting trends, it is evident that they reflect the style of campaigning used by some candidates from their parties, Keyamo added.

From his words, he said: "We just won the election by running a pan-Nigerian candidate. Asiwaju received votes from each of the nation's six regions. Only he, with the exception of one state, won at least one in each of the five geographic zones of the nation.

Three regions were won outright by Asiwaju, one by Atiku, and two by Obi. Asiwaju finished second in at least all of the regions. He was never third. That is how he triumphed. The only candidate to garner support from all regions and demographic groups of Nigerians was Asiwaju. The only Pan-Nigerian candidate from across Nigeria was Asiwaju".
