The leader of INRI Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele released a prophecy concerning the 2023 general election. According to the vanguard news report, Elijah Primate said that the election may not hold on the stipulated date because of insecurity which has given birth various criminal activities of bandits, Fulani herdsmen and Boko Haram insurgence in the country. According to him, Nigeria needs to seek the face of God.
He said that the date for the election will be changed constantly at different times due to insecurity, which is what he foresees.
My opinion: this prophecy will definitely come to pass if the Federal Government fails to eradicate the high level of insecurity in the country. As no citizens would risk his/her life coming to a danger zone only to vote. Because if there is crisis and conflicts in the country, no one would dare come out to vote.
It is true that the Federal Government is working hard to make sure that Insecurity in the country is eradicated, but it is not really enough. As more effort is needed for this situation to be fully eradicated.
