Babajide Kolade Otitoju in this week's Wednesday edition of the program Journalist Hangout has revealed that there are some people around President Muhammad Buhari who lie to him.
The ace journalist while reacting to Ayo Ozugbakun statement that the president might not be aware of what is going in the country said one of the person close to Buhari once lied to Nigerians that Boko Haram is not occupying any territory again. Yet, the insurgents keep spreading their tentacles around the country every day.
Babajide also said that another person close to the president lied about the issue of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) by giving false claims.
The award winning journalist then went ahead to talk about how insecurity might cause food inflation and scarcity. Mr. Otitoju reveals that insecurity in Nigeria will increase food price and might later cause shortage of food because the towns which are producing the largest food in the country are presently not safe.
He made mention of Ibarapa/Oke Ogun axis in Oyo state and Niger state as part of the largest food producing towns and states which are not safe presently.
