Many Nigerians often see politics as a way to riches, whereby those who venture to partake in it enrich themselves in terms of self aggrandisement. However, this very notion that anyone who goes into politics is there only for the interest of his or her family and close relatives, seem to have blinded many Nigerians into preventing them from knowing that some things are definitely not what they seem. However, this very ideology that many Nigerians had about politics was what also transpired in the recent and throwback pictures of the Senate president, Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan which just surfaced online.
The picture which went viral online some hours ago seem to have indirectly cleared the (wrong) doubts that many Nigerians had about the Nigerian politics. The photo which was shared by a social media showed the throwback photo of the now Senate president before he came into the power, while matching it with his recent picture. Amidst the development which has caused a form of mixed reactions online, many Nigerians has taken to their social media handles to express their views regarding the photos.
While so many people claimed that the amazing transformation between the two pictures, was based on the fact that the Senate president earns upto N29 million per month, some others chose to lay complaints of how senators could be earning that much pending on the current situation of Nigeria.
