The former education minister, Dr Mrs Oby Ezekwesili, has begged Nigerian electorates to go out on the 11th of March to elect their prefered governorship candidate, urging them not to get discouraged by the outcome of the just concluded presidential election.
While speaking, Dr Mrs Ezekwesili reminded Nigerian electorates that there are several incompetent governors of the already established political parties that deserve to be sent packing from the 31 out of 36 states holding elections on March 11.
Dr Mrs Oby Ezekwesili made this disclosure in a tweet she made on her verified twitter handle, urging Nigerians electorates not to disengage and inadvertently give them more time to misgovern their respective states. She ended her tweet by asking Nigerians to go out and vote.
Due to the outcome of the just concluded presidential election, most Nigerian have vowed never to vote again in any election in Nigeria, with the mindset that their votes do not count any longer.
As we head towards Governorship Elections in some states in Nigeria, electorates must continue to vote and should not give up, hoping that things will get better some day.
