Pa Olusegun Osoba, a Former Governor of Ogun State has revealed that those planning an interim government for the country were just wasting their time.
He recently disclosed this during an interview with TVC NEWS while reacting to the letter addressed to President Muhammadu Buhari by Former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo as regards the conduct of the 2023 presidential election.
Osoba however condemned party agents and observers who queried Professor Mahmood Yakubu, the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) over the credibility of the election results. He stated that the results had been authenticated at the State level and could not be altered by officials at the National level whose responsibility was to collate results.
In summary, he said: " I am not happy with Obasanjo, his statement is more than incitement. He is a statesman and should behave ' statesmanly '. An elder must learn to speak less and should not be pugilistic. I want him to engage me in a debate, I have my facts. There is a plan to disrupt the process and allow an interim government which would not happen".
