Aguluzigbo, a community in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, crowned a new king today.
The previous king, His Royal Highness Igwe Ezeanakwe, Oranyelugo 1, passed on over 5 years ago which made the traditional stool of Aguluzigbo vacant.

The election to select the new Traditional Ruler was held on the 15th of January 2021 and His Royal Highness, Igwe Rufus Iloduba came out victorious as he defeated his opponent with a very wide margin.
The King went on to obtain the certificate of recognition from The executive Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano on the 4th of March.

Today which is the 7th of April, he was crowned as the second king of Aguluzigbo in the presence of the entire community which had the heads of the villages present including other groups. The Senator that represented Anambra Central in the 8th senate, Senator Victor Umeh was present at the ceremony as his hometown crowned a new king.
