1. Police refute Wike, say IGP, Rivers CP aware of Nunieh’s home invasion
Rivers state police command said the IGP is aware of the invasion of home of former acting MD of NDDC joy nunier by the officers of the police force. River state governor Wike, said he called the IG but the IG said he is not aware of the issue.
2. Niger Republic repatriates 42 Nigerians over COVID-19 violation
No fewer than 42 Nigerians were repatriated from Niger Republic for allegedly entering Niger Republic and breaking border protocols.
The Nigerians were received by the Control command of Nigerian customs in Katsina.
3. ‘Over 25% of Nigerian dental technologists practicing abroad’
Most of Nigerian dental surgeons don't practice in Nigeria because of insufficient facilities in the country according to the Registrar of the Dental Technologists Registration Board of Nigeria, (DTRBN) Malam Idris Bappah Gwaram. They rather go abroad for employment.
4. Buhari congratulates Nigerian appointed VC of UK varsity
Buhari congratulates prof. Charles Egbu for his appointment as the vice chancellor university of Leeds. The president via his media secretary Femi Adesina express gratitude and said fellow Nigerians should copy from Egbu.
