N-Power said if you have received a message to confirm your ID, you should note that the message is legit.
The minister for Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq has cleared the air on the issue of messages received by the N-Power beneficiaries which have caused panic for some time now.
The minister made it known that those who have received messages and are asked to reconfirm their N-Power ID should do so adding that the message is directly from the ministry.
The minister, Sadiya Umar Farouq made this known via the Official Twitter handle of the ministry on Friday 23rd April 2021.
According to the statement, the minister pleads with the beneficiaries who have received a message directly from the N-Power to comply with the message, describing the information as being authentic.
The statement as issued via Twitter read; "If you have received a message from N-POWER asking you to reconfirm your N-POWER ID, please comply. It is authentic. #NPowerNG".
Note that the reason why the Minister has to make this statement is to confirm that the message sent to the beneficiaries is directly from the N-Power to avoid being a victim to scammers.
N-Power earlier warned that any information circulating on social media platforms asking beneficiaries to carry out any activity on any website must first of all, be confirmed through the official platform of the ministry before carrying out such exercise.
Some of the beneficiaries who have received message to reconfirm their N-Power ID is free to carry out the confirmation exercise as the authenticity of the message has been confirmed by the ministry.
To those who are still having issues on the N-Power or N-Exit portal, don't hesitate to forward your complaint to the N-Power support team via their official email address.
