YORUBA GROUPS SET JUNE 12 AS REFERENDUM DATE
According to Naija News, several Yoruba Groups have on Thurday have set 12th of June, 2021 as referendum date after a meeting in Ibadan
The purpose of the is to tackle the insecurity menace in Yorubaland hence the meeting w was tagged "the paramountcy of Yoruba Unity". The groups went on to state that their call for yoruba self determination is non negotiable.
BANDITS OPEN FIRE ON TRADERS IN BENUE MARKET
According to Vanguard, two armed bandits dressed in military camouflage said to be loyalists of the late militia leader, Terwase Agwaza, also known as Gana, were reportedly had a gun battle with the joint Military Operation in Benue market resulting to heavy fire in the market.
It was gathered that one person was killed and over 13 others injured from the clash at the market at Abaji located in Kastina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue state, Nigeria. According to the Police Relations Officer, Catherine Anene, the corpers of the deceased have been deposited at the Primary Health Care Centre located at Abaji while those injured have been receiving treatment at the General Hospital Katsina-Ala.

The Pan-Yoruba Socio-Political Organization, Afenifere have warned President Buhari to restructure the nation to enable 2023 election to hold.
Speaking in a interview with Tribune, Afenifere leader, Adebanjo stated that Nigeria cannot be kept together under the obnoxious 1999 constitution except the constitution is amended and Nigeria restructured.
