The Chairman of Southeast Governors' Forum and Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. David Nweze Umahi, FNSE, FNATE and leaders of the Zone in a regional Security meeting at Lion House, Enugu.
Some of the agenda discussed were security challenges in the South East, 2023 Presidential zoning to the South East and how to provide more jobs opportunities to the youths.
At the meeting which was held on Tuesday 5th October 2021, the South Eastern Governors deliberated more on the high rate of security challenges in the South Eastern States and how to end it.
The South Eastern Governor's forum which was led by Governor Dave Umahi said that the people behind the SIT- At Home Stay Orders are IBO's in Diaspora and not IPOB.
The Chairman of the South Eastern Governor's forum, Led by Engr. Dave Umahi called on Mr. President to be more proactive in handling the security challenges in Nigeria.
Finally, the Governors also promised to maintain more peace and harmony in all the South Eastern states.
