The governor of Ekiti state, Governor Kayode Fayemi, has called on the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, to turn NYSC camps into security training grounds to recruit "willing and able" university graduates to join the military and the police. I have listed two reasons why the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, should do what Governor Kayode Fayemi said about NYSC Camps.
1. Increase the rate of employment
As we all know, there aren't many jobs in the country, and the majority of graduates are out of work.
Turning NYSC camps into training grounds will increase employment rates in the sense that some of these NYSC members might eventually develop an interest in working with the Nigerian police force or with the military force.

2. Increase the number of security personnel
Another reason President Muhammadu Buhari should do what Governor Kayode Fayemi said is to increase the number of security personnel in the country. The crime rate will decrease when we have more security men in the country.
