
President Mohammadu Buhari's administration has again extended the deadline date for the verification of the NIN-SIM data to be on 31 October 2021.
Naija News reports that this announcement was made during a statement titled 'FG Extends NIN-SIM verification deadline to 31st October 2021.' The reason being to carry everyone along by making sure that this NIN registration covers all communities in the country.
It was signed by Ikechukwu Adindu who is the Director, Public Affairs Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), and Kayode Adegoke who is the Head, Corporate Communications, Nigeria Identity Management Commission (NIMC).
Recall that the deadline for the NIN was previously approved by the federal government to be on 26 July 2021.
