Dino Melaye, a famous Nigerian politician was born in Kano State, Nigeria. He had his primary education at an undisclosed school in Kano and then proceeded to Command and Air-force Secondary School, Kaduna for his secondary school education.

Dino then went further and studied geography in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he bagged his degree and graduated from the said school in 2000. During his undergraduate days, he was very active in campus politics and later became the leader of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS).

It was then no surprise when he became a full fledged politician, contested and won a seat in the upper legislative chamber, representing Kogi West Senatorial District. While in the Senate, he was the Chairman Senate Committee on Federal Capital Territory and also served briefly as the Senate Committee Chairman on Aviation in Nigeria.

Often very outspoken and controversial, Dino Melaye is a man many love to hate. He could be full of antics and dramas; he has, on several occasions sing mocking songs to taunt any of his political rival going through hard times.
