The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Bola Tinubu claims that if elected, he and Kashim Shettima will provide visionary leadership. Notwithstanding the fact that they are not supermen, Tinubu promised to put together a brilliant team for the good of the nation.
He stated this in a statement titled "Why I Want Your Mandate to be President of Nigeria" released on Wednesday. From his words, he said: "We are committed to providing imaginative and ambitious leadership to assist Nigeria realize its enormous potential. "We don't fool ourselves into thinking we are supermen with the power to magically address and solve all the challenges facing our nation".
President Muhammadu Buhari's accomplishments, which are evident in several of the states he visited while campaigning, must be built upon, according to Tinubu. We are aware of the struggles our people face and the issues facing our nation, he stated.
Better conceptualized and stated policies could have reduced some of these. The fact is that no human group can have a perfect government. I can see that the Buhari administration has accomplished a lot in the areas of infrastructure, agriculture, and poverty reduction that is commendable. We must expand on these successes. There are also other industries where we need to change our methods and emphasize new goals.
