See Reactions As Godswill Akpabio Denies Allegation Of Sexually Harassing Joy Nunieh

The Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio, on Wednesday, denied all the allegations made against him by a former acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Joy Nunieh, saying there is no iota of truth in them.

Nunieh had in a recent interview accused Akpabio of sexually harassing her, corruption and abuse of office, among other allegations .

But the minister, in a statement by his spokesman, Aniete Ekong, described the allegations as “false, malicious and libellous.”

After getting this update, Nigerians didn't take too long to share their reactions on their various social media platforms. Check them out below:

Even a criminal caught in the act will say the same.

But what about the wonderful slap he got in return?

Akpabio Is a womaniser, so anything is possible.

He is innocent until proven guilty.

The woman should sue the minister for assault while the minister should reciprocate with a libel suit.

Above all, we mustn't derail from the main issue: Who ate the yam?

Men should relax. Let the Legislatures pass that bill that gives us the power to push off all these rape/sex assaults.

Until then, Akpabio, only you and the lady know what transpired between you two. I rest my case.

They should tell us wat happen to the money not all this:

* you married 4 husband.

* he sexually harassed me.

* I did not harass her.

Going by how arrogant and entitled you are, I wouldn't put it past you.

Maybe you winked at her or you toasted her. Winking and toasting an uninterested lady are now sexual Harassment.

Really? But you said she was removed for insubordination. Was it to you, the President or the constitution? That woman looks like a firebrand and I doubt if she can make such false accusations.

This distraction by these guys isn’t making sense anymore.
