President Muhammadu Buhari, who was heavily criticised by the former presidential candidate narrated how he positively transformed the country.

President Buhari talked about how his administration could boast of transportation, infrastructures and heightened security especially in the Northeastern part of the country. President Buhari also said that no government since 1999 has done what his administration has done in six years to put Nigeria back on track.

However, even after initially agreeing with President Buhari’s claim of being the most exceptional President Nigeria ever had, Adamu Garba disagreed with President Muhammadu Buhari’s independence speech saying that there was nothing to congratulate.

He also claimed that there are no roads, railways, infrastructures and security in the North as opposed to the development of Southern Nigeria.

Read what Adamu Garba said about President Buhari’s speech below.

“I listened to the President’s speech from beginning to the end. Firstly, I would like to congratulate Southern Nigeria. I think there’s no President in recent history that worked so hard for the development of the region than Buhari”.

“Secondly, from the President independence day speech: as for the North, I do not think there is anything to congratulate about. No roads, no rails, no infrastructure, no solution to security. Perhaps, some people will get ‘NPower’ handouts”. Adamu Garba said.
